The cables on that pullover are fabulous! How funny about your amaryllis. I just dug mine out of the garage a few days ago and started watering it. Maybe it will be blooming in January.

I opened up my amaryllis box last year to find a bud, six inches of nearly white, cramped stalk, and a bunch of roots trying in vain to find some sustenance.
I am thinking about knitting my kid a hat between now and Christmas. And then I think, maybe I’ll skip the whole damn thing this year. Of course, this is the first year he’s really NOTICED Christmas, so… I think I’m stuck. I should probably consider obtaining a tree and maybe putting up some lights.

I love the colours of the top socks – very nice.

Those flowers are awesome – that’s incredible that they’ll progress that far without any soil.

Best of luck with that ‘other’ holiday – your socks look like they are nearly done. Yay!
