Happy birthday! Good things happening. Can’t learn too early to just shine on the changes you can’t control. If you don’t, it gets overwhelming, because they keep happening, and it wastes energy to continuously grieve over them. I agree/like your transition to what your hands DO for you. 45 is a wonderful age. Old enough for wisdom, but not old enough to be old yet!

Happy Birthday! My Grandmother used to complain about her hands being so ugly and old because of arthritis and my mother would remind her that she had the most beautiful hands that created such wonderful things! So yes, you have beautiful hands!

Happy Birthday! I didn’t notice your hands looking older at all; they were still the cute, pixie delicate hands they’ve always been to me! You could have big ol’ man hands like I have and then have old looking man hands, which trust me, sucks a lot.
