Saturday morning
Posted on | November 17, 2009 | 16 Comments
I got up very early to go to my hairdresser’s house. I love early morning appointments because the rest of your day is free. I was rewarded with this sight on the drive:
Isn’t that fabulous? Yes, I did pull over to the shoulder, get out of my car and take pictures despite a dozen cars speeding by.
I didn’t care what they thought. It was worth it.
Happy Tuesday!

What gorgeous pictures!!! How fortunate that you had your camera with you. I often see hot air balloons traveling over my home and I never get tired of them.

Lovely photos. I’m with you on the early morning appointments. Always seems like you get more accomplished, even if you do nothing else the rest of the day!

I love hot air balloons. There’s something so happy and melancholy about them, at the same time.

The picture with the trees at the base is amazing. How could you not pullover!?

Wow. I love the first photo – Totally puts into perspective how small we really are, no? Oh – I’m making a very small batch of PB fudge today as a surprise for M…Don’t be jealous! ;)

I’m with you, I would have (and have!) stopped the car and taken the shots. With a sight like that, how could someone not?
Have a great weekend! :)

Rainbows are good in any form, especially hot air balloons at dawn.

Yes!! So worth it – that first shot is absolutely priceless. And now I’m dreaming of flying up there in that beautiful balloon. It’s on my list.
