I took so many photographs

I couldn’t choose

just a few.

I’ve had no luck growing dahlias (foliage but no flowers)

so when I saw these at the farmer’s market for $1 a stem,

I couldn’t resist.

Best $5 I spent.

    My grandfather grew Dahlias as big as dinner plates..he was in the Dahlia Society..and entered competitions frequently.

    When I saw one that was named “Otto’s Pride” I had to have it. It is a beautiful shade of pink and looks very much like the ones in your photos!
