playing catch-up

Despite not blogging much lately, I have been spinning, knitting, and taking pictures.

Remember the three ply I was in the process of making?  I combined two bobbins of light colored fiber with one bobbin of brighter-colored fiber, and this is what I got:

Oh wait, the cat’s in the way!  Let me try again.

I absolutely love it.  I think that when it’s knit, it’ll have long stretches of color and it completely reminds me of Trekking.  The one ply of Wensleydale really shimmers too.  I have about 600 yards and no idea what it’ll grow up to be, maybe a simple scarf to let the yarn be the star.

Like I said, I’ve been knitting, but don’t have any pictures to show for it.  I’ve finished a small project and currently have three sweaters in progress.  I’m challenging myself to blog more frequently, so that’s all I’ll say for today!

Except for this – playing Monopoly with a 13 year old can get very interesting!

Reminds me of a Dr. Suess development!

What a GREAT pic of D.! I haven’t played Monopoly in years. The yarn is scrumptious, as always!

The yarn looks lovely, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what it looks like knit up. Will you do a simple sock, or try and slip in some patterning?

You SO aren’t old enough to have a son that old. He’s got your good lookin’ genes though, so it must be true! :)

I”m not a fan of Monopoly, but I am a fan of Suess. I approve of the properties.

Love the yarn! Especially with the furry legs attached. ;-) Everything’s better with a little cat hair, don’t you know?

And that’s one seriously wacky game of Monopoly! lol
