friday fiber

I’ve had enough angst for this week, how about some pretty yarn in celebration of Friday?

This is Kitchen Sink Dyeworks’ merino/bamboo, spun in December and finally finished last weekend.

SW merino/seacell from River’s Edge Weaving Studio that I bought at the January Spin-In. This yarn bled quite a bit in the bath, I probably should’ve washed it in cold water but at least now the finished project won’t bleed. The colors are still very pretty and it was really nice to spin.

Hello Yarn’s December Fiber Club selection, Night Sky, SW BFL. As always, Adrian’s fiber was wonderful to spin. I didn’t even count the yardage on this; I’m sure it’s around 300 yards. Most of my 4 ounce skeins are.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Our guild meeting is tomorrow and after that, I’m going to hunker down at home and enjoy the rain – read a book, work some puzzles, make Pasta Primavera and I’m sure there will be some fibery things going on too!

I love them all! I like the two-ply version of Night Sky. The challenge for me is always what to knit….Can’t wait to see what you do with them.
