long time coming

Posted on | February 12, 2009 | 31 Comments

After almost three years of blogging … I finally have a new look!

During the Great Blog Hack of Aught Eight, I thought a lot about whether or not I wanted to continue to blog.  It’s a lot of fun, but also a lot of work.   It’s a responsibility.  I’m held accountable for finishing things!  Which is beneficial to my flighty nature.   Once Tad was able to rebuild my blog and I decided that the hack was likely a one-time event and I would continue blogging because I missed the interaction much more than I ever imagined, I knew I wanted to go forward with a new design, and Tad was who I turned to for help.  I think he did a great job!  And he was wonderful to work with.  Thank you, Tad!

Now I have a favor to ask all of you.  Will you please let me know if anything appears wonky on your computers?  Click around, if you have time, and let me know if any links are broken or if something just doesn’t look right to you.   The Finished Objects page is a work in progress while I figure out how to create galleries, so please pardon its unfinished state.

Thank you so much for your time, and comments, and visiting!

I have some shy daffodils for you!

P.S.  I promise a knitting update soon.  I have one button band to do (the one with the holes!), tons of ends to weave in, and then I’ll be finished with my January sweater!  In mid-February, but so what!  :o)

Nice new look. Your photo of daffodils is certainly a wonderful sight to behold for us cold northerners. Can’t wait until Spring comes.

I like the new look and I especially like that you’re still going to be blogging. :-) Under your finished objects link, the first two FO’s, the scarf and red socks, when clicked bring up pictures of the Genmaicha (SP?) mittens.

The blog looks great. On the FO’s page, when you click the first pic (with your son), it goes to the Gaimancha (sp?) page. Other than that, looks good!
