living in the moment

I’ve said many times before that spending time in the woods is my rejuvenation.

Even starting today with 27 emails from just one of my three bosses hasn’t touched the lingering sense of calm from being in the woods.

TWENTY SEVEN EMAILS from ONE person? OMG. Someone needs to switch to decaf. Or go off and sit in the woods himself. Damn.
Pretty woods. If I went someplace that looked like that, I’d probably stay there all permanent-like.

I figured that is where you were on Saturday… we missed you! Your pictures make me want to skip the rest of the work day and go to the woods myself!

Gorgeous! You will feel calm. It did not help my sense of calm in the woods to have the dog accompanying me “marking” everything and messing up leaves. hmph

Thank you for sharing your break. It was rejuvenating to shut my eyes and imagine being right there. Beautyberry is one of my favorite bushes….
