Thank you, America!

Hallelujah!  I couldn’t stay awake to watch the results last night, despite drinking an afternoon cup of coffee, but I woke to the news this morning!  I teared up a few times watching snippets of Obama’s speech on CNN, I can’t wait to watch the whole speech!

And today’s my anniversary!  Happy Anniversary SB!

Aw, happy anniversary! I watched Obama’s speech this morning and was teary-eyed the whole way through. Watch McCain’s speech too – it was quite classy.

    You guys are too cute!

It’s a good day to be an American. I feel like I can finally breathe a little easier. No man can solve all problems, he’s not the second coming of Jesus, but damned if I don’t feel like I’ve got a reasonable voice speaking for me and so many others now. I wish him strength, courage and fortitude for the coming years.

Happy Anniversary! After traveling to NH to see the political candidates and volunteering and being so involved, I didn’t feel well and did not watch the results last night (sigh). I am EXCITED to see that Obama won!!!

    Happy Anniversary, you two!

What a great day too. I fell asleep watching CNN but woke up right before McCain’s concession speech. I woke my oldest son to watch Obama’s acceptance speech. Both speeches were awesome.

Happy Anniversary! I stayed up to watch both Senator McCain’s concession speech and President Elect Obama’s acceptance speech. What a history making event last night.

I couldn’t believe it until the actual concession, and then the tears flowed with Obama’s acceptance speech. Incredible, overwhelming. And your anniversary – how incredibly awesome! (That picture looks like it has a very good story behind it…)

Happy Anniversary (a little late, I think, but better late than….)

I stayed up for the whole thing. I was too nervous to watch early election reports on tv, so I left the channel on the House marathon on USA network and read blogs and message boards instead. I was following two separate threads on two separate boards. When I needed a break, I played a flash game. :) As Obama started pulling ahead, I was able to turn the tv to Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, and after that I could watch CNN.

    :)
