Hullo, I have new socks

These socks were my experiment  to see how much sock I could get out of one skein of Lorna’s Laces.

I had this much left over, so I definitely could’ve gotten more!

The pattern is from Merike Saarniit’s Spinning for Socks class and these are my first successful toe-up socks!  The fit is fabulous.  I didn’t want to take them off, but it’s going to be 92 degrees today.

I especially like the heel.  My only question is:

    Those are pretty. the heel IS nice. My very first pair of socks was from LL. I got one whole sock and over halfway down the foot with one skein. I finished one sock last night.

    those socks are so cute. As to which you start next… I vote for far left or far right. Both are super awesome colourways and I NEED to see them knit up. Just so you know :D

    oh lucky you and your toe-up skills. i wanna learn to knit socks thataway,too! i like the yarn on the far left. oh make that! can’t wait to see how it knits up.

    They look awesome!! That’s one of the nicest toe-up heel jobs I’ve ever seen – and a great colorway, it looks like sherbert :)

    My favorite is probably second to the left, while the one in the middle comes in at a close 3rd! You need to do one of the sockapalooza things, girl!
