I’m a little bit country

Our guild’s picnic at Pia’s house was great.  She really has the best of both worlds – she’s 20 minutes from the city but her neighborhood requires that each house have a minimum of five acres surrounding it.  There’s room to BREATHE.

Pictures speak louder than words, so I’ll let them tell the day’s story.

This is Colleen, she was rejected by her mother and is being bottle fed.  She’s one of the most beautiful creatures I’ve ever seen!

Bamboo Banty.  (No, I don’t know if that’s a Banty rooster, but it seemed a likely name).

What gorgeous photos. DH says I can’t have a wheel because I would want a sheep. Don’t know where he gets that idea. We have 8 dogs and three horses, no cute lambs.

What fantastiac pictures of a remarkable home. Those sheepies are too sweet.

Hold on though WHERE is this neighbourhood?? And how difficult is it to transplant myself there – or somehow export that attitude to our city planners?? That is brilliant!
