i had a friend in college who after graduating moved to virginia. while there, she started dating this local guy who took her to a tractor pull or monster truck rally (don’t remember which) on one of their first dates. when i asked her what she thought (snarkily i might add, being a snarky northeasterner living in nyc at the time)she said that if those had been the last 4 hours of her life, she would have been really pissed. still makes me laugh.

Heh. I was born and raised in South GA, and I never even heard of a tractor pull. Boggin’ now, that was different.

I lived in Missouri for 7 years before moving here and let me tell ya, I love southern snow. I really love how it is pretty and then gone by 9 a.m.!
