Personally, I’m not feeling the love but then, those aren’t my colors. I go for brighter
colors. The patterning is nice but there’s not enough contrast between the two colors to make
the pattern pop. It boils down though to how much you like it. I’d say if you’re in doubt
enough to ask us, frog it and start again with colors that contrast more.

You are right; the colors don’t pop. I would rip it and try a different color combination.

I like it. But the real question is do you like it? If you’re not sure, then I would suggest ripping it.

I like it. Blocking may help the texture and I happen to like subtle.

I really like your colors and the subtl-er contrast – especially in the corrugated ribbing. I’m eyeballing the chart, maybe it’s a case of the design wanting a little more contrast, or the colors wanting a simpler design? I’ve struggled with the whole color balance/theory stuff a lot lately on different projects. Someone suggested to me to put a photo of some colorwork swatches I was doing into grayscale to see the contrast, I’ll try to find the article on that…

In any case, if you aren’t happy, it’s worth the rip – but I am looking forward to seeing where this is going! :)
