When we were camping the other week, I swear I saw this stick move out of the corner of my eye as I was climbing out of the tent.
How cool is that?
We transferred the caterpillar to a twig and watched it go into its defense mode.
Amazing.

I love inch worms (or at least that is what we call them). We have them in green and brown. They are so neat and amazing.

So when he was completely standing out against your tent mesh, he was really thinking “no one can see me if I am really still”.

Wow that was really cool.. i too thought it was just a stick/twig…
oh by the way happy belated bday.. mine was yesterday 49 for the first time :-) but a day from hell i don’t think i’ve ever had such a bad bday and i didn’t knit either so i know it was really bad..i can always tell when the day is going wrong.. so right now i should be knitting something instead of reading the misc blogs that i’ve missed for the last year.. no computer at home.. and not much time at the library.. butnow with my new job i can get a little bit more of me time :-) reading fellow knitters blogs.. i tried to start one last year.. but obviously it didn’t get very far.. must try again in the new year when i’m back to having cable and internet at home again.. :-) toodles fellow Sag knitter! :-)
