I am alive

Just in case anyone was wondering.

Last Monday I woke up with a sore throat and it was all downhill from there.  I had a viral infection that led to the worst sinus infection I’ve ever had in my life, y’all.  I missed three days’ work and finally dragged myself to the doctor Friday for a steroid shot and confirmation that yes, I was really sick. 

Thanks to the miracle of modern medicine, I am on the mend!  I just poured up a cup of coffee – my first in a week.  A week!  Without COFFEE!  Food is starting to taste good again, too. 

Just in time for SAFF!!!  Hurrah!  If I had to get sick, I’m glad it was last week and not this. 

I’ve done quite a lot of feverish spinning (literally) and some comfort knitting, but lack of time and rainy weather conspired against my taking pictures this morning.  Tomorrow.
