Brand new scissors, bought just for the occasion.  I figured if they’re pink, they’re likely to stay in my possession longer.

Where it’s at now.  Waiting for a zipper.  Because apparently, I can’t measure and Hancocks only had a brown separating zipper in a 24″ length, which I thought would work.  I hope Hobby Lobby’s zipper selection is better than Hancocks’!  No modeled pics until the zipper’s in!

But I WILL say:  I love it.  I really, really love it.

She was absolutely fearless with the scissors! The only problem we ran into was slightly blurry pics do to caffeine induced tremors. And I must point out that the cocktail was poured AFTER the steeking. Great job, E!

The sweater is of course, gorgeous, but darling, don’t you know you have your containers mixed up in that sixth shot. The blue one is for 7&7, the clear one for flowers.

Very, very COOL. Beautiful photos and steeking! Did you feel a rush of satisfaction when you cut into the knitting? For some reason, it gives me a kick to cut into knitting. I am weird :-)

Gorgeous! And the pink-handled scissors sound like a smart buy — all of mine have dark handles, and can I ever find a pair when I need them? Not so much.

I’m having a hard time leaving a comment. I’m oddly speechless. It’s beautiful. Can’t wait for the official FO photos.

It would be fun for you SAFF-goers to get photos of this one in action. :)

Hooray!!!!! Congratulations! I bought myself a 26″ zipper at Walmart and cut it down. I wasn’t willing to wait for zipperstop delivery, it needed to be over and it needed to be over right. then.

The sweater is gorgeous. I love the yoke, but for some reason that neckband facing really clinches it for me. I’m weird, I know. I like those little details that make a sweater that much more interesting.

Way to go on the steeking! It’s not as scary as you thought, was it?

Wow, Elizabeth! That sweater is just gorgous! Don’t know what to tell you about the zipper except maybe try these guys. They have a decent selection.
