		<description>Ooh, flax!  I have about 5 stricks in my stash.  I&#039;ve only spun a little, and it&#039;s been years since I tried.

One year I made a homemade distaff out of a tree branch and used it with some flax and a drop spindle.  I even took it to the Renaissance Festival to spin.  Only problem was, the distaff with the fiber on it looked like a huge q-tip.  I got several comments to that effect, which kinda spoiled the look I was going for.  :)</description>
