Kickin back

Isn’t that what Sundays are for?
Friday night’s graduation was such a proud moment! Here’s a picture of my daughter Amber with her favorite professor and mentor.
He’s wiping away a tear after reading her heartfelt thank you card. I know she’s glad to have school behind her (for now – graduate school is definitely in her future) and she already has an interview scheduled for next week!
For the title of my post – this is what I’ve been kickin’ back with this morning.
My sweater yarn is all balled up! Actually the yarn on the winder is back outside, drying on the line. It felt a wee bit damp so I put it back out where it should dry in approximately three minutes, given today’s heat! We’re probably going to break the record for longest string of days with 100+ degree temperatures this week. I keep telling myself that it’s only going to get better but I am ready for cooler weather right now! Patience is not one of my strong suits.
I’m off to knit swatches! And do some more kickin back. I think you should too!

Yay, Amber, and congrats to all concerned! What did she study? What is she interviewing for? Yeah, I’m snoopy, er, interested.
Yummy yarn, too. That will be a fun sweater to knit. I am enjoying watching the process.

Oh. My. God! Congrats to you and especially Amber. Last time I saw her she was 11 or so. I know you are proud. And I can say I knew her when…
