If Wednesday were Friday

I’d post pictures of our blooming sunflowers. But hey. If Maryse can go back in time, I can go forward!
Doesn’t it look like the red has been painted on?
I think the buds look wicked cool.
I had a VERY successful retail therapy lunch today! Got two beach-reading books, a new garlic press (because I broke our old one with my brute strength), two pair of terry capri loungey pants that I pray don’t scream WIDE LOAD COMIN’ THRU when I try them on, a cover-up shirt for $1.97 and a couple of t’s and shorts for the boy! LOVE Old Navy! Even better was that I used a gift certificate from xmas, so I spent NO MONEY!
Happy Hump Day everyone!

Sunflowers are some of my favorite flowers, and those red ones are stunning. What did you end up getting for beach reading?

Those combos would make for some wicked yarn colors, don’t you think?

Love the sunflowers – so cheerful!
What book did you pick up?
Old Navy is a pretty great place – I love that they carry such a range of sizes at such low prices (especially if it is on sale). A gift certificate – it can’t get any better than that!

It does look like someone went through with a paint brush and “touched up” the sunflowers! What a unique plant.
