OMG – I have to share this with you guys. Just a minute ago, SB asked me if he reminded me of Rex Smith! Remember Rex Smith?!?! He was my dream guy when I was too young to dream, he was pre-Andy Gibb, he was the whole reason I took guitar lessons from Brian Shank – I wanted to be Denise from Fish and fall in love with a Rex-like character and live happily ever after but all I ended up with was my first double-date with Brian, Marvina and somebodyelse, at the drive-in, getting sick on Tickle Pink!

At any rate, NO, SB doesn’t remind me of Rex Smith, because he’s my REAL love and Rex was my FANTASY, Teen Beat love, and thank god for that!

Please, if you hold Rex dear in your memories, don’t google his name or go to his official website. He’s a …he’s a… oh, it’s too horrible to say….he’s a …

REALTOR!!!!!!!

    That sounds like a real “oh, how the mighty have fallen…” kind of moment. But it’s always so satisfying to find out that your real life is better than your old fantasies!

    I totally remember Rex Smith! HA! I had a classmate who was COMPLETELY OBSESSED with him and exhibited classic “stalker” behavior along with the most elaborate stories (lies? who knows) about knowing him and how she was his ONLY love, blah blah . . . anyway . . . blast from the past! REX SMITH!

    lol. I know. I fell in love with Rex Smith when he sang in The Pirates of Penzance with Kevin Kline. I might have been a little young, because it aired the year I was born, so I only saw it several years after the fact, but he was still hot. Hehehehe. Now I must go watch Pirates of Penzance….
