Don’t hate the Knit

Conversation at last night’s holiday party, Starter Castle, Suburbia.

Marla: I have the perfect sister. I can’t do anything right but everything she does is golden. She’s three years older than me, but everyone asks me what it’s like to have a younger sister. She’s perfect, seriously…

Brooke: She’s knitted sweaters for the whole family. Daughter – sweater; husband – sweater; son – sweater. She’s even knitted a sweater for the cat! The family portrait was taken on the sofa with the afghan she knitted draped across the back, so it can be in the picture too!

Me: What do you have against knitting? I’m a knitter.

Dead silence.
