Beautiful yarn! I try to read a bit each day, and somedays I read way more than I knit/spin. But I have to admit that the fiber addiction is bigger than the reading addiction. But its good to have balance, and to do things that are different, eh?

The tree in your background is SO colorful!

As for balance, I hear you. I have to go way back in my memory to remember the slower and more deliberate pace of my pre-knitting, pre-internet life. I cooked a lot and managed to read more also. I'm re-introducing my family to my cooking and enjoying it as well.

I'm SO afraid to watch "LOST," but I want to. Someday. I've seen ONE episode of The Office and it cracked me up!

Hope you're feeling better.

Oooh - you linked to me! I'm planning a post on combining knitting and reading. Stay tuned.

My 17-yo son and I are also recently addicted to Lost. I got season one from the library; we couldn't finish it in a week so I bit the bullet, kept it overdue, and paid the $5 (maximum) fine. It was still cheaper than getting it from the video store. Season two we downloaded from iTunes for a $35 season pass; that's what we are doing with season three, the current one. (Our television reception here in the boondocks is practically non-existant.)

Ditto The Office (US). iTunes rocks. Although you may have to have a video iPod to get it to your TV set; otherwise you have to watch it on your monitor.

I love the multiplicity of colors in your yarns. Can't wait to see how they look knitted up.
