The more I learn

the more I realize how little I know.  All the different types of sheep and wool and how it’s prepared and spun and what’s good for what, and whether to ply, and if so, do you Andean ply or Navaho ply and what’re the benefits/drawbacks of the different plying methods, and learning how different colors interact with one another and how to create secondary and tertiary colors ON PURPOSE so that maybe you can recreate it if you like the way it turns out, and will buying a lightweight spindle enable me to spin yarn fine enough for socks after it’s plied and even so, do I really want to spin sock yarn, and ohsweetjesus my head’s going to explode.

All I know is…

I can’t wait to go to SAFF!!!  We are going to have a blast!  And if my head is spinning now from all the fibery stuff I don’t know but want to, I’ll be like Linda Blair by the time the weekend is over, I’m sure!

Maybe the alcohol will help.
