I’m declaring October “Get ‘Er Done” Month

My first FO of the month:
(I love resizing photos. Do you think I could stretch it long enough to get rid of my double chin?) I’m posting this for Pixie, so she’ll know what I look like because we’re meeting up at SAFF!
This is my Dugger Mtn. scarf, dyed and spindle-spun and handknit by moi! I have to say that this project held my interest non-stop, which is a first for me. I loved seeing how the colors developed in the crockpot, as it was spun, and knitted up. It did a funky stripey thing, but it’s all very muted since I alternated between the two balls. I’m going to block it tonight, which I hope will add a foot or two in length. Right now it’s about 90 inches and it needs to be longer.
Want to see how much yarn I had left over?
Barely enough to bind off!

What a pretty picture! You could have used the Dugger Mtn scarf for the Arctic wind on our last trip on Dugger. Maybe your next colorful scarf can be named after Oakey. Wonder if that rope swing is still up there…
