How many links can a post hold?

OMG – I don’t believe it! Grumperina left a comment!!!
Not that I don’t value ALL comments, because I do. I love the fact that my friends comment and I love the surprise of hearing from folks I’ve never met, but admire their blogs or knitting or sense of humor. Speaking of humor, did anyone catch this morning’s NPR bit on Tracey Ullman’s new book? The best part of the interview was when Mel Clark described her ideal day – working at her yarn shop, going home with her daughter, it’s raining out and her daughter says, “let’s watch Pride and Prejudice, make some tea and KNIT!” I think we all can relate.
I believe the interviewer said a pattern from the book was available on NPR’s website, a mohair apron or something like that, but I can’t get their site to load for some reason. Probably all the knitters in the world trying to access it at the same time! Maybe it’ll work for you. Apparently it’s working now. Here’s a link to the story.
I’m almost out of roving, so perhaps next week I’ll have some knitting pictures to post! Or at least plied yarn. In the meantime, here’s my Eye Candy Friday contribution:
Sgt. Britty – this Bull’s for you!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
*No, I did not rob the cradle. This is a pic from college that Sgt. Britty shared with me after he was certain of my affections and that his past mullet and Jamacian braids wouldn’t scare me away. It was a big chance, but he took it. I told him that with that smile, I would’ve dated him anyway, mullet and all.

You’re too kind! :-) Thanks for the mention up there.
Happy Birthday, Sgt. Britty! I had to look twice — “is that . . . a . . . MULLET?” DOH! (It’s okay; I had one too for a while *shudders*)

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I cut off the mullet 15 years ago & now only miss it when listening to my old Iron Maiden. The birthday was great. My knitting wife gave me one and a half socks (among other treats) that I will wear with pride when completed.
